At a glance..

A glove that allows a user to experience VR in an all new way. Sensors all over the glove allow for precise movement tracking within a virtual environment. Haptic modules at the finger tips provide the user with immediate feedback to what they are touching.

Haptic Feedback
  • Our haptic feedback will be achieved with a coin or "pancake" vibration motor.

  • This motor technology is of the type ERM.

  • This particular ERM is powered with DC, intensity being controlled through voltage.

  • We will achieve the patterns and pulses through PWMs on our Microcontroller.

  • The IMU data will be used to get the 3D orientation data.

  • The data is processed by the PC in real time.

  • A virtual object in Unity is rotated by the quaternion calculated.
